You want to make a cool robot, maybe a hexapod walking robot, or a 17 degree of freedom robot, or a piece with many moving parts. Or perhaps you want precise PWM output to drive the LED. Then you realize that your microcontroller has limited PWM output! What now?
When we see such a circuit board, we quickly realize that it will be an excellent plugin. Only use two pins SCL and SDA to control 16 PWM outputs! You can even cascade 62 such circuit boards to break through and control up to 992 PWM outputs (how great!!!!!)
This is an I2C controlled built-in clock driver with a 5V compatible power supply, which means you can control it from a 3.3V microcontroller and still safely output 6V.
6 address selection pins, so you can cascade up to 62 such circuit boards on a single I2C bus, 992 output controls enough servo motors or LEDs.
Adjustable PWM frequency up to approximately 1.6KHZ
The servo outputs a resolution of 12 bits for each output, which means a resolution of approximately 4 μ s refreshed at 60Hz
