LSM9DS0 IMU sensor, a 9-degree-of-freedom sensor that integrates all functions. There are three sensors inside the chip, one is the classic 3-axis accelerometer, which can tell you which direction is facing downwards towards the earth (by measuring gravity and acceleration). One is a 3-axis magnetometer that can sense, with the strongest magnetic force typically used to detect magnetic north. The third one is a 3-axis gyroscope that can measure rotation and torsion. By combining these data, you can truly determine your position.
When we saw the LSM9DS0 from ST, we thought - wow, this can really make a big breakthrough at a very good price! Design all data for your own activity or sports tracker We have designed an interface board with all the additional circuits, you would think, like a 3.3V regulator and level conversion circuit, so it can be used for logic of 3.3V or 5V power supplies/microcontrollers such as Arduino, STM32, etc. In addition, a power indicator light function has been added to the board.
This sensor has two I2C and SPI interfaces. It's easy to connect it to Arduino, with power VIN and GND connected to 3.3-5VDC, and I2C data connected to SCL and SDA lines. Are you ready! More advanced users can use SPI, which we have two supports in our library. It has been assembled and tested before leaving the factory, with some additional needles, so you can use it on the breadboard. Four exquisite mounting holes ensure your secure connection. We have put popular power and data pins on one side, and interrupt pins on the other side of a good compact board and breakthrough.
