  • Description
OIO (pronounced "yo yo") is a development board specifically designed to work with Android devices. This board provides a connection method between Android devices and USB, which can be controlled by Android applications using a simple and intuitive Java API. The IOIO board contains a microcontroller that serves as a USB function and interpreted commands for Android applications. In addition, IOIO can interact with peripheral devices in the same way as most microcontrollers. Digital input/output PWM、 Analog input, I2C,SPI, The control of general asynchronous transceivers can be applied on IOIO boards. In other words, you can easily add amazing computing power, Internet/Bluetooth connection, touch screen, and a variety of sensor robots to peripheral devices to enable them to interact with peripheral devices.

Product features:
USB-OTG dual mode (host mode, device mode)
Input voltage: 5V-15V, powered by an external power source or USB (when connected to a computer)
Output voltage: 5V, can reach 3A (!), 3.3V, can reach 500mA
46 I/O pins (digital I/O), with built-in pull-up/pull-down/open drain resistors on all pins
16 analog inputs
9 PWM (driving servo, DC motor, LED, etc.)
4 UART.
3 TWI (I2C, SMBUS).
3 SPI.
6-pulse signal input (accurate pulse width/frequency measurement)
When acting as a USB host, there will be a USB current limit (effective in Android mode)
Can be switched to host mode by the switch
The LED lights can be controlled by the user control board
Applications:
Expand the IO port of Android phones, use Android programs to expand the IO port of the phone
Connect Bluetooth adapter
Connect the computer, expand it into a serial port, and control peripheral devices using Java language
